I used to work out all the time. Like...a lot. I even had a personal trainer, watched what I ate...the whole kit-and-kaboodle. But, as it happens...things changed. They say it takes 21 days to build a routine that your body will become used to. It's amazing to me how hard it is to get into a work out routine and how once it is established, I love it. I love the pattern, the consistency. But yet, it is so easy to fall out of working out regularly.
I stopped working out regularly about 6 months ago. Exercise not only helps with your physical health - but also your mental health. As someone who has suffered from depression over the years, and severe anxiety - I know this. I know that exercise and proper diet are some of the best ways to combat these issues. So I know that some changes need I be made to better myself, inside and out.
What better time to start than the beginning of a new month?! It's June 1st, beginning of a new week (if you believe week's start in Sunday, that is). Not only that, but summer weather has officially hit the GTA. Let's work our butts off and get "beach-ready", and then stay that way year-round!
So - who's in to try this 30 Day Ab Challenge, that I found on Google, with me? In addition to this Ab Challenege, I will also be going to the gym regularly and limiting my intake of unhealthy food. (Read: NO fast food)
