Tomorrow marks the first day of a 60-day challenge I have recently accepted. I'll be starting the Insanity program. If you haven't heard of Insanity - you must be living under a rock. LOL I'm incredibly excited to give this my all! I checked out the website and some of the before and after pictures and - colour me impressed! These people have completley transformed their bodies in 60 days!
Insanity is the hardest workout ever put on DVD.
The concept of Insanity seems simple enough. 60 days of intense, max interval training - 6 days a week.
Hallelujah, I will get a rest day!
The best part is - I get to do this all from the comfort of my own home! This is a huge added bonus, especially in the cold winter!
Staying fit and active is a very important part of life. Not only for your physical health - but also your mental health. As someone who has suffered from sever depression and anxiety - I know this yet, I've been slacking lately, especially with the holidays that just passed.
Now is the perfect time to kick it up a notch!
I'll be checking in every week, on my rest day - Sunday. I'll let you know how it's going, if I am able to still walk, LOL and fill you in on my progress along the way. I've connected with a virtual BeachBody coach through Team Beachbody, who is going to be there to encourage me, check in on me and help me along the way. This is perfect because sometimes, admit it - we all need a little extra push! So he'll hold me accountable for checking in daily and updating my progress along the way.
Ready to #DigDeep and get insane with @shauntfitness #Insanity! #beachbody Staying healthy and fit is not only important for your physical health - but also your mental health. This is something I know - yet have been slacking on and am feeling the effects of said slacking. Changes must be made - and will be. Stay tuned as I blog about my progress working my way though this.
