True To Name - Insanity Is Insane - Week One


This is the face of someone who is in pain, on the verge of throwing up, can't feel her legs...but is loving every minute of it! Despite the fact that I look like I am about to cry...LOL

As I have mentioned, I recently started the fitness program, Insanity - by Beachbody. I just completed my first week and let me tell you - Insanity is true to its name! 

It is insane! 


Years ago, before moving to Las Vegas - I was in the best shape of my life. I was eating right and was working out 6 days a week at the gym, 5-4 of which were with a personal trainer. Now, well - to be honest - I just do not have the time for all of that anymore.

So, when Insanity was brought to my attention I was excited to give it a try! Little did I know that after just one week - I would be addicted. Seriously! Every day this week, around 3pm while I was sitting at my desk, I was counting down the minutes because I was so excited to go home and put in the Insanity DVD and work up a sweat!

One week in and my body aches. I've been working muscles that I didn't even know I had (ayy-oo!) and I can already notice a difference. Each day I have pushed myself harder and it's been worth it

I'm already down 5 lbs (yay!) and it's not only thanks to the Insanity workouts. Included in the package is a recipe book filled with healthy, hearty, easy-to-make recipes to go along with the hard work you're putting in. Because no matter how much you work out, WHAT you put in your body plays an important factor as well! I'll be sharing some of the recipes over the next couple of weeks and more importantly - I cannot wait to share my results after this initial 60-day Insanity challenge!
