Game of Thrones Season 4 Blu-ray and DVD Release

Last year, I was lucky enough to attend the Season 3 Blu-Ray/DVD launch for Game of Thrones. Set up as a "Red Wedding" themed evening, we were assigned to different families for dinner. Hodor even made an appearance! It was so much fun!

This years festivities were a tad different. Held at the CHILL Ice House, we were warned to dress warmly. And with reason! The CHILL Ice House is literally made of ice and kept at a balmy -5C.

*blank stare*

Not a fan of the cold - don't worry, there is also a warm, Speakeasy bar in the back!

Oh, no big deal - just had to make sure I was wearing my gloves when I was drinking because because they glasses were made of ice...

After trying to warm up with a couple cocktails, we headed to the fully warm Speakeasy bar to listed to HBO Vice President, Canada and Latin America, Brian Blazik talk a little more about Game of Thrones, and some upcoming highlights for HBO Canada

Game of Thrones is the most popular HBO show ever. Game of Thrones has even broke ratings records and topped The Sopranos to become the most popular show in HBO's history! The sale of complete seasons on DVD and Blu-ray are beyond incredible - selling, $8M of Season 1, $9.5M for Season 2 and $10M for Season 3. It's esitmated that Season 4 will top the records for previous years.

After listening to these crazy stats and a couple of giveaways - we got to stick around and enjoy some more Game of Thrones inspired cocktails. Mostly staying in the warm, Speakeasy bar area. Because, well, hypothermia is real, y'all! LOL

Check out this video of a fire juggler! I had to take a step back because I have a lot of hair, that is usually coated with even more hairspray and I was not wanting to get caught on fire. LOL That would not be a cute look!
